STEVE BUCKLEY AND BRYN
He first saw dogs working in India in January 2001, when deployed there for the devastating earthquakes which rocked the country. It was a graphic demonstration of how beneficial a four-legged team member could be, and Steve was keen from the off-set to dedicate himself to this specialist area of the rescue team. His and the teams ambition was achieved with the arrival of a fine Border Colley affectionately named Bryn and very kindly donated by Suzanne & Tim Bibb of Town Lane, Birmingham. Bryn who is just over 3 months old and looking like he’s going to be a big lad isn’t quite sure what all the fuss is about, but seems to know he is pretty special. Steve and Bryn are looking forward to what will I am sure be a very successful, productive and lifelong partnership. Steve and Bryn had there first training session with Doc, Neil and Steve Hogg. Bryn was already speaking well for his toy so we introduced him to runaways. He quickly picked up on the game and at the end of the day was barking at the ' casualty ' for his toy without being prompted, a great achievement. As the photo shows he was also making friends with Ollie, Jake and Holly.
